Oh what a difference a week makes. Last Friday I was sitting at the beach in Bali, enjoying a balmy incense soaked breeze, working on big Blog Society plans and dreaming about the future – take me back! Travel does wonderful things for the soul and I’ve come back with such a renewed focus and a whole new list of fun ideas I can’t wait to share over the next few weeks. Although the scenery has changed I’ve been thinking a lot about the saying ‘bloom where you are planted’ since I returned and wanted to stress the importance of flourishing where you are now, no matter where you are in the world. You can (and should) bravely go after the things you dream of and whether those goals feel close by or far off in the distance, they are achievable and the first move is just getting started.
There have been some reoccurring themes happening this month, not only because of our #bebrave challenge but also through comments in our Instagram community about productivity and that communal feeling of never having enough time. Sound familiar?. It’s a feeling we can all relate to and to alleviate some of this stress I shared my own tips here in a this freebie I created earlier in the week, hope it helps.
The end of the year will likely begin to speed up in the countdown to the holidays so this weekend try to slow down, get yourself organised and muster up the courage to take the first time. Mostly importantly, bloom where you are planted. Have a happy and well deserved weekend everyone, if you need some link love, here are some of my favs from the week..
