Excited to be writing this post, enjoying the early morning sun, in our new home and new Blog Society headquarters! The boxes have been unpacked and I’m now losing countless hours of sleep pouring over Pinterest and dreaming up new ways to settle in and create that little dream office I’ve had in my head for ages. It will be a slow process but the space feels like home. A safe, comforting, relaxing vibe where I can’t wait to create, coach and welcome in a new year full of possibility.

The process of moving and buying our first home was filled with huge learning lessons about patience, timing, risk and vision. So many of these traits also relate to how I’m approaching and feeling about where this little business of mine is going and I’m learning to let those feelings sink in. I’m learning to really listen to how I’m feeling and where my energy is being pulled. So for now, that energy is focused on this new space and turning our new apartment into a home, and I couldn’t be happier. So this weekend I’ll be buried in magazine heaven and enjoying a cocktail or two out in the backyard…hope your weekend is packed full of magical moments. Here’s some link love to kick things off…x Jac

There is a recurring theme here over the past few months of whirlwind days and feeling like each time I sit down to type at this keyboard that I am chasing my tail and always playing catch up. It’s been like that this year – crazy, chaotic, at times challenging but overall pretty damn wonderful. In the midst of buying our first home and packing up our old place, we took off for an anniversary trip to Cambodia which has left me in a blissful holiday bubble as I try to emerge back into reality this week. I put the business on the back burner (and in the capable hands of my team) and truly disconnected while gone. No phone, no internet, (minimal) Instagram posts when we did find WiFi and most importantly just shut off my brain from the ever evolving list of ideas and simply sat still.  I read books, took naps, swam, watched people go by and let my mind wander.

The silence had this profound impact on me that I’ll be sharing more of in the coming weeks. It made unexpected emotions bubble to the surface and made me rethink and question my current business plan, model and direction for the year ahead. These emotions are both scary, thrilling and certainly packed with some honest truths that I feel important to share. So while I let the holiday dust settle I can say that I’m happy to be back here and ready to share even more of myself in this space moving forward. Until then, enjoy your weekend and some link love below…x Jac

The universe can be a funny place can’t it? I’m realizing this more than ever after putting a few wonderful things out into the world this week, only to have been met with such incredible responses and reactions. Wow. Ask and you shall receive, never underestimate the power of manifestation.

I’ve also been getting some pretty strong signs about new directions to explore and paths to follow…I’ve got a feeling the next few months will see some new adventures unfold and I couldn't be more excited. After last week’s family trip to Bryon I returned feeling refreshed, full of wanderlust and if I’m honest, a bit slack in tackling the to do list so this weekend I’m going to dive in and get a few of those big items off my list. But first, I’m going to enjoy a cosy night at home with my better half complete with homemade pizza,  a glass of wine and no computer in sight.

Here’s to asking for what you want (and need) – and kicking big goals this weekend.  Link love to keep you inspired below…
