A Look Back // Terrarium Workshop

After last week's impromptu blogging break, I find myself full of energy this Monday and ready for the busy (and exciting) week that I've got ahead of me.  Sometimes when blogging is the last thing you feel like doing, a mini break is just what you need to kick start that creativity once again.

As a blogger one of my aims when creating Blog Society was to foster collaboration and friendship away from the computer screen. I wanted to encourage people to step outside their comfort zone, try new things and get their hands dirty.  Our most recent class took this literally as we introduced our very first Terrarium workshop co-hosted by the crafty Jenny Fahey.

Held at one of my favourite venues in Sydney, The Commune, we enjoyed another sold out event where the succulents were plenty, Peacock Lane from Yellowglen was flowing, Sally from Happy Families Design taught macrame and everyone walked away with not one but two pretty incredible indoor gardens.  It was the perfect kind of class - full of happy, creative and interesting bloggers ready and willing to make with their hands and share with one another. We have so many new events coming up and this only got me got more excited for the weeks ahead. Hope to meet many of you at our next gathering!
