I have a love/hate relationship with ideas lately. My head is filled with ideas and I love that constant stream of inspiration and creativity. It fills you with energy, purpose and an enthusiasm that is contagious however what I've been struggling with lately (and I'm sure this is a topic you can all relate to) - is finding the time to bring these ideas to life.
Time escapes me and I have been working on my own personal schedule, my definition of productivity, how to prioritise and to focus on finding the time - or making the time - to bring the ideas that matter to life. I realised recently after talking to a girlfriend in a similar situation that this topic was extremely common amongst my blogging and business-owning friends.
I decided that instead of sitting here with my brain about to explode with ideas, I was going to create a platform to share and swap advice, to tell our own tales of success and failure, to talk about struggle and to create an inspiration support group - an so our first Mentor Power Hour was born.
I'm excited to be teaming with up General Assembly and three lovely mentors to kick things off this Thursday in Sydney. The event is free, but RSVP's are essential - if you're struggling to turn an idea into a reality or just want a night out to surround yourself with creative people in your own #blogtribe - this is it. Hope to see you there...
